The Case for Declassification

If you're a supporter of the 45th President, and think that this whole Russia thing is overblown nonsense, honestly ask yourself two questions:

  • Why not declassify the intercepts of the Russian correspondence?
  • Why not release his tax returns?

If, as 45 states, this is all fake news, then it could be solved immediately by doing both of these things. In fact, there is no good reason not to do so. Both of these would lay to rest the controversy surrounding much of the whole Russian interference.

But 45 has done neither of these things. Instead, he continues to rail against the media treating him unfairly and SNL's guest comics.

So we have to ask ourselves... why?

The answer is simple: what is in these documents is worse for him than the controversy of not releasing them. So they either prove his involvement, or they prove something else worse.
